Granite & Slate Hearths for Fireplaces & Stoves
If you are unsure how to measure up for your fireplace hearth, feel free to forward photos and measurements direct to us and we will assist you as much as we can.
We have a wealth of knowledge in all things fireplaces and stoves and can help you design and install your hearth through telephone calls, emails or even video calls. We can ensure that you correctly design and install your fireplace hearth to comply with current building regulations. We do not charge for this additional service.
For more intricate measuring service or if you are just not confident enough to measure up yourself, we offer home surveys and templating for £50. If you believe you will require this additional service please contact us in the first instance to confirm that we can cover your area. As a rule we can only cover up to 1 hour's drive from our base in Northwood (HA6 1BA)
Twin Wall Flue Design Service
Measuring up for Twin Wall Flue installations
We can design and supply your Twin Wall flue system for your stove installation. External flues going up the side of your property or internal flues that pass through the floors and ceilings. We can also design your Twin wall flue system for your single storey extensions, summer houses and out buildings. We recommend Just Fit Fires & Woodchuckers Wood-burning stoves for you Twin Wall Flue & Wood-burning & Multi Fuel Stove Installs and are able to assist them in providing a quote for your complete installation.
Our Twin Wall Flue Designing and planning service will be able to advise you on the feasibility of installing your stove and flue in you chosen area. We will talk you through the complete installation process explaining what materials are required and what flue route is allowed in order to maintain with current regulations.
On completion of the survey you will be provided with an itemised list of the flue components required as well as installation guidelines explaining relevant clearance to combustible's required. You will also be emailed a detailed quote for installation from one of our 3rd party installers.
The cost for the Twin Wall Flue Installation survey is £50 which is non refundable. Please contact us in the first instance to ensure that we can cover your area. As a rule we will cover up to 1 hours drive from our base in Northwood (HA6 1BA)
