Bateig Blue Sandstone fireplace hearths. These natural stone hearths have the perfect mix of subtle fossils and and raw imperfections randomly spread on a beautiful pastel coloured earthy stone.

Bateig Blue Sandstone is far more porous than similar slate and granite alternatives and will require regular maintenance and sealing when installed where soot and dirt maybe present.

Not recommended for open fires, but becoming more and more popular for closed appliances, including wood-burning stoves and especially glass fronted gas appliances and gas stoves.
